I enjoyed the season! Was not expecting to feel that connected to Kirito x Asuna, but I'm glad to report I liked their romance! Onto SAO 2!

And that's the end of season 1 and arc 2. It's a good ending. It wrapped up everything nicely and set up for the next season. Even if the series had somehow flopped and we never got anime adaptations for GGO or Alicization it would still be a comfortable end to the show. Yeah the Seed is basically like the full-dive VR version of the 3.5srd for ttrpgs. Anyone can create their own VR video game using a license-free software disseminated across the internet. Kayaba was a psycho who was not content to merely create his dream world full of whimsy and opportunity. He wanted the players to be born within it against their will, forced to live out a life of hardship and consequence, just like in real life. But while he clearly didn't respect other people's wishes or autonomy, he did respect the wish for others to bring their dreams to life as he did. Thus the Seed was his parting gift to humanity, and whether it will be used to the betterment of mankind or be yet another terrible plague he has inflicted upon them, we can only wait and see. I believe we will be jumping straight into GGO next, which should be a lot of fun. I remember liking the anime adaptation a lot.

No, the world of AlfHeim Online was not recorded. That would have taken MASSIVE, unfathomable amounts of data. All they could get hum for was the overall operation and attacking Kirito, as far as I know
