I think Ram is pretty cool. But yeah sometimes she can be a bit too much. At this pace you'll be just in time to watch ep 16 when it comes out wednesday. Just be careful with spoilers ^^'

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the OP this season. Both the opening and the song on its own . I am, no bullshite, actually unable to stay still when that drop comes in, and they're chopping up the sandworms in the OP. I have tried to tell myself not to move in any way. Nope fuckin' impossible. IT is sooooo fun and to my taste. Ender Ember, the ED, is also dangerous for when I'm in the kitchen or bathroom and I hear it, because I'll probably shake my ass and wave my arms around, or something you only do when no one can see you. I was already a mighty fervent fan of the Re: Zero songs, but... yikers. Give me one that I can dislike, damn it! There's supposed to be a "that one" for me to shite on.

5:00 I saw someone remark that Flugel used to mess with Shaula by pretending to forget who she was at random times. Like, wake up and freak out when he'd see her in the morning or other dumb shite like that. I wish I had some reason to know if that was true or not, but I don't wanna dig. But, otherwise, how does Shaula have such a complaint?!? Would her master have really hit his head so often that it became a meme to Shaula?

"Chan...." Yes! I love every bit of behavior from Emilia that shows she's finally feeling comforted and loved by all of Subaru's weird shite and confessing and little tricks to be closer. The endearing honourific missing hits her harder than she would have probably guessed it could. Connections/affection between two clearly interested characters never getting progress is one of my most vicious complaints at many series. So often, two people who clearly have "something" between them that should undoubtedly lead to either joining together or concluding that it will not happen, will just go thru volume after volume, season after season, of no change or growth or distancing. It turns attraction into merely a gag to bring up for a chuckle or a fan service scene or a chance to knock down the MC a peg every so often. I hates it! Yes in fiction and IRL, many folks dick around and do nothing with the opportunities around them, especially in matters of love, but when it's be the same empty joke in the last 10-20 shows you've watched, it feels like an affront to romance even being real.

9:00 Yup. Right there with ya. Ram's behavior here gets her tossed into the same wastebasket as Index, as far as I'm feeling. This is precisely the sort of unreasonable, unprovoked violence, used for a running gag, that irks me so bad, my toes could break from curling up. I know that many Re: Zero simps will rationalize it as "just the way they are together," but that's the dumbest sounding shite. Someone wants to slap me or punch me because "it's just how they are." I'll likely them "just how I respond" and sock them across the face. Violence has its purpose and uses. Communication between friends/lovers/teammates is NOT one of them.

Btw, Subaru also had Echidna and Shaula at the bottom of the shaft, just in case he and Emilia couldn't keep Meili from falling. Wish the anime showed that. :/ Emilia's advice about the Tower not being the place to make such a life-changing decision was brilliant. I just love how she said it. It's so damn true. She could always push Subaru off a roof later.

Well....seeing as Meili was "raised" by Elsa, the Bowel Hunter, and Capella, the Sin Archbishop of Lust, I'd say she turned out pretty okay. Now, she just needs to work on not considering murder as a go-to solution. Maybe have Emilia and Frederica teach her about growing up as a woman. Stay in shape with Subaru and Garfiel. Stay tf away from Roswaal. You know, start some sensible habits and education. Elsa at least taught her to wipe her own ass and how easily a human can die, but the fashion sense and sociopathy can be cast aside for better, healthier options.

28:30 Here it is! One of the key moments of Emilia showing that she's made her choice. She kinda said it while dealing with RegulASS, but no one can doubt Emilia has locked in on Subaru as her partner. It just gives me such catharsis and hope.
