So weird comparison but Amnesiabaru thought that "natsuki subaru" was a Luffy or Naruto, big final goal or something when actually he was more of a Ichigo. No big final goal just simply wanting to protect those he loved. You understand what I mean? He thought there was more to it but no, I love these people so I'll stop at nothing to protect them. 3:00 That's the rub. Newbaru is basically downloading Truebaru's game save data. That ended up updating his files, meaning that he, Newbaru, experienced that. Remember Meili's Book? He came out of her book having to talk himself down, that he isn't Meili. I think that scene should have given viewers the most visceral idea of what the experience in a Book of the Dead is like.

EXTRA INFO: I thought the episode was pretty damn good. Until....I watched Echidnut's cut content video, and even he wasn't so thrilled with the way they handled Subaru V Subaru and Rui's tale. He's the #1 Re: Zero glazer online! If you're interested, it's kinda a big deal to know what happened. I'd rather you watch Echidnut's awesome video, but I thought you'd at least enjoy my tiny Cliff's Notes murmurs. Rui divided themself to have one eat Truebaru's memories, and the other would gobble up Newbaru; thus, they figured they could merge and BECOME him. They thought that they could use his Authority to live a happy, fulfilling life. Before the gobbling, Rui had quite a lengthy chat with Subaru, like wondering is he was actually the Archbishop of Pride, or even Sloth, since he could use the Sloth Witch Factor. Also, Rui nonchalantly tells Subaru that, if she wanted, she could pop out another White Whale or Great Rabbit; she just hadn't felt the need to yet. There's more, but I think I'd mess it up. I will say that PTSD Rui started with saying, "I want to be happy." Then, she was saying, "I wanted to be happy." By the end, she was yelling, "I don't want to die!!!" Man, I do wish you had time to react to the cut content. The entire series has heaps of cut content, tiny and huge, and there was almost always someone to share what we missed. I know you do plenty, and I'm grateful.
