I see they successfully had Asuna's mom trigger you in 2 seconds flat.

I am right there with you on the education system having priorities being scuffed. They forgot to teach us what we actually need to learn to function as adults.

I LOOOVE my home to be freezing!!!! I have always been severely hot-bodied, and I am a lifelong Texan. Heat is the norm, disgustingly so. I get panic attacks from getting too hot. If I manage to get cold, I’ll live in a hoodie(or 4) and jeans(and sweatpants if needed), all day every day. If it’s too hot, I’ll be unable to move or think, and going outside is a no-go. Even if we could go outside naked, the Texan sun will make it an eternal regret if ya did!

Damn right. Especially around where I grew up. We had the whole issue with “Scantron vs. giving actual answers” and fighting on both the side of multiple choice tests and tests that required actual cerebral stimulation. Humans often show habits, even subconsciously, so when my teachers would let a pattern develop in questions, I’d just find it and exploit it to finish passing. 90s and 00s schooling all suffered from school being required to get money, not properly educate as many children as possible. Sadly, I couldn’t go, but here in Austin, there is the Waldorf School. On a wooded a Hill Country campus, kids learn academics along with arts, gardening, craftsmanship, music, practical arts, movement, and more. My mind was blown when I’d heard of a school that, pre-k to 12th, taught life skills and academics.

4:10 Seeing you react to “Mother” like this has me giggling nonstop. Welcome to another life-on-the-line arc!

12:20 Hey….I dated a girl in high school whose dad was a Sheriff’s Deputy N.A. whose mom was a school teacher. It was made clear that I was looked into. If only they had done such a great job of scoping out the violent PDF psycho she married after we broke up. Look, I’m all for parents knowing all they can about a child’s partner. Knowing is half the battle, yo. But, this biatch, disallowing her daughter to be with a guy she loves, who also is technically a hero who freed more than 6 thousand hostages from a maniac’s plot, is truly tilting af.

19:00 If you had…..we might have had an issue. I’ve only suffered than meme through jackoffs not letting it die naturally. Fuuu…the brainrot of Zoomers shocks me with how contagious it can be.

Buddy

while everybody else wanted to escape SAO because they had things in real life for hope, Asuna wanted out not because she had something outside but because she hated to be caged and controlled, to be trapped by someone else, it was also why when Kirito first meet her she was so cold and had that "no entry" personality it also helped her to not have fear of death, she thought that it was better to be dead than to be caged and I respect that. on the other hand I like that you understood that while a pain in the ass the mother does care for her, just in a really old, elite fashion way (which in a way makes it harder for Asuna to crash out completely to her).
