The eve of the Watanagashi Festival comes again! There are a couple small things I would like to point out, to give you some food for thought. Events are transpiring differently from the last arc of course, but I wonder whether Tomitake and Takano broke into the ritual warehouse last arc? It certainly might explain why Oyashiro-sama would curse them - or a human culprit might justify their murder. But only Tomitake was confirmed dead last time; Takano simply disappeared. But now she has been burned to death? Speaking of Takano, we now know she works as a nurse at the clinic. No wonder the old ladies at the clinic were gossiping about her disappearance in the last arc. They probably saw her often. The "Wata" in Watanagashi translates to cotton, but as Shion and Takano imply, the Japanese word for intestines is also pronounced "wata," though it uses a different kanji. Are the villagers of Hinamizawa just regular country folk, or are they something more? Religious cultists? Man-eating demons? The biggest yakuza in all of Japan? There's only one way for you to uncover the truth. But even if you do uncover it, Can you believe it?
