Bro I had no idea you were reading the comments 😭 but I wanted to post this after you finished it. I was gonna do it in a twitch stream [SPOILER ALERT!!!] Regarding the Homonulus deaths: The Symbolic and Ironic Deaths of the Seven Homunculi in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood A Homunculus refers to the medieval legendary concept of an artificially created human, presumably brought into existence by certain means of alchemy. The central antagonist in the story is the original Homunculus known simply as Father, who was created several hundred years before the start of the series in the presently non-existent nation of Xerxes. The other seven Homunculi are tangible embodiments of his nature, and therefore were originally parts of himself. He did this in an effort to become the perfect being by attempting to purge himself of the seven "sins" which he believed make humans imperfect. The souls of the seven Homunculus were created when Father purged his immortal soul of these seven desires that he believed prevented him from becoming a superior being to mankind. All of the seven Homunculi met a symbolic and ironic death, reflecting the deadly sins they embodied: * Lust died by the hands of a man she could not tempt. * Gluttony was eaten by his own kind. * Sloth died from over exhaustion. * Envy committed suicide after being pitied by those he envied. * Pride begged for mercy from someone he considered inferior to him. * Wrath died peacefully and calmly instead of with anger and hatred * Greed sacrificed himself for others and died contented with his life. Truly one of the best written stories ever

I think with either Blue Lock or Haikyuu fam, a lot of us miss having a sports anime on the list of weekly reactions. They just hit different graaavy yo, and provide a different kind of hype and excitement. For so long there was always one running (kuroko, blue lock, that ippo greatness and magnificence yo), it is time to bring that feeling back 👑

subzerostolly

This was beautiful fam nice touch just like watching through all the openings at the end of last video fmab is a series that can’t be put into words easily. After watching it so many times it still hits deep hope you do a rewatch in future and have the same experience. Can’t wait for the twitch stream. If you are ever wanting more brotherhood can always give the ova’s a watch only 4 but there cool additions.

"There's no such thing as a painless lesson, they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can't gain anything without losing something first. Although...if you can endure that pain and walk from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. A heart made of Fullmetal."

MunsterWitcher95

Megalobox is going to hit different too if you ever get into it someday. Definitely very character based. Loved seeing your reaction to all the comments. It was such a journey through FMAB!

if possible could one of the mods please speak to khan I'm not trying to force him to watch kingdom just want him to now how the anime is without spoilers 1st the animation on season one starting with episode 1 is pretty bad not gonna lie but it does get bit more normal as the season progresses all I can say for that is the story holds as he knows because he read the manga but the animation get updated season 2 and with every season it gets better and better. 2nd all the manga he's read has been animated so all the cool moments are animated voice acting is superb main va is ichigoat (ichigo from bleach). 3rd new season comes out in October so as with every anime he's done recently by the time he catches up new season will be up like with bleach my hero and re:zero, there are also live action movies on Netflix which are great I personally hate live action but this is actually very well made casting is beautifully done really worth watching. so to end this I really hope he can give it a fair try and that even if he doesn't like it or continues to watch ill know he tried and as I mentioned in other comments even if he doesn't watch it ill still support him as I have for more than 10 years now and I know ill enjoy any cnontent he will put out, hope someone sees this and maybe show him this comment or mentions what was written here thank you

rob

if were talking sports anime no other hits more than diamond no ace lots of feels there probably one of the best sports anime there is

Pharaoh

you're absolutely right, very underrated gem of a sports anime i just dont think khan gives a flip about baseball LOL

Busta Riggz

"Can I have two favourite animes as my 2nd favourite is that even possible". Bro if u saw my Top 5 The only spot that doesn't have two animes in a spot, is the number 1 spot🤣🤣. I'm pretty sure it's ok lol cuz its all ur opinion at the end of the day there are no laws about it bro. Like I literally can't bring myself to say one would be better than the other cuz I love em both so much and putting one down before the other I feel would be me disrespecting it😭. But most definitely though FMAB is 1000000% in my top 5.

Baker

FMAB > One Piece imo, not only does FMAB not prolong it's stay to the point where it stockholm syndromes you with thousands of episodes/chapters to create a sunk cost fallacy, but it doesn't end up going so long that it makes a mockery of once great character arcs or insulting your time by extending scenes for 10's of chapters (the recent infamous speech to tell us one or two new things was ludicrous) because people will always forgive it. Pre-timeskip was great and defo would rival FMAB, but post timeskip for the most part is just meh to bad with occasional good moments rarely sprinkled throughout

Bro after what you said yesterday you can’t call avatar the last air bender a cartoon especially after 1 episode I don’t know exactly how many episodes to recommend to get hooked but trust me it would not take a lot the series is a masterpiece that everyone deserves to watch. One day fam just like brotherhood and many other anime’s hopefully you get around to watching and seeing what bro was talking about.

Baker

agreed, I remember mid book 1 had something really good and then late book 1 is where it kicks off and continues to get better. Though it's different from anime, it's definitely inspired by Eastern animation and stories and does have a lot of emotion and resonating themes, should defo give a watch at some point for sure

subzerostolly

Yeah I remember it so well growing up that and Dragonball because of reruns and avatar stuck in my head seeing the commercial announcing the ending like wow can’t believe it then few years later think it may have been on Netflix binging the whole series so deep in parts definitely can hit different for people when watching deserves to be respected. Good flow to the story and what 2 episodes of filler if that coz there just such funny episodes can only say the bad thing was the live action movie but that’s separate thank god the Netflix series did it justice and hopefully season 2 of that will keep cooking.

Pepe

oh i love this!!! didnt expect it

Baker

yeah, also looking forward to some of the new upcoming animated Avatar stuff they've got planned. Won't say what cause some of it might be spoilers for those who haven't watched but really cool stuff potentially. Really wish they'd adapt some of the sequel comic storylines/arcs, some of those were as good as the main show if not better

subzerostolly

Yeah I know what your talking about and I’m excited for that too and same maybe one day they’ll adapt the other bit into a special or something for a anniversary I’m sure the fandom would be very happy make them feel like watching the original all over again

Abdel

Fam the emptiness i felt after finishing FMAB was TOUGGGHHHH, that post-anime depression hit different. I wish you would've reacted to the ending songs as well top tier visuals. If you want another anime with FMAB level storytelling is MONSTER. One of the last GOAT anime that you still haven't seen yet. Also Khan PLEASE INCLUDE MANGA REACTIONS in you next open slot for anime selections. There's so many top tier Mangas that will never get an anime adaptations.

LamboSenpaii

I wonder if you're gonna check out the 2003 version

Digit

Yo, Khan, if you want more Fullmetal Alchemist without ruining the story, you can check out the original Fullmetal Alchemist! Brotherhood is a remake to match the manga. The original anime has a different story.

LamboSenpaii

As someone who started with the 2003 version, this could be really cool to see

RENGOATKU

for me it's more than okay to have two anime in the same place in the ranking... it's like my two children, both are completely different from each other but my love for them is the same.

Lualua

If you want a short anime to watch, Dandadan 12 episode. Also, it will break you during it.

tommieS

If you need a new anime Kaiju n12 is a really nice anime, I have mentioned it before, but it has some comedy, good animation, and nice fights.

Baker

You mean Kaiju No 8 right?

tommieS

Lol I was reading the comment below about Dandadan having 12 episodes and wrote Kaiju n12 hahahahaha

Lualua

I also think perfection is based on people's preferences. There were parts of these last episodes that actually resonates with you subconsciously when you think about it. Winry's Gate of Truth did open, as the whole "plot" was about the empty space between Gate of Truth and its GOD's presence which not let you go around without suffering. Her moving trough between 2 doors was all of her desires and sacrifices on display. The Dwarf in the Flask was afraid of sacrificing its own thing, he wanted to sacrifice others instead, which is not what GOD intented. Basically Life and Death, the 2 big gates, the homunculus aquired both Life and Death trough science, thus he became GOD . But you can not be a GOD with science, because that means others can use science to deny you. That is the Truth. The actual truth is about suffering and sacrificing your life and experience the equal negative events in your life to reach that positive event which fills your heart. And trough that, you will gain a fullmetal heart that can not be swayed. Once it's been filled, you can pass the Death gate without any sacrifice or desire.

Cebrailltd

I haven't given up on this yet, we will get his bald ass on giving it a fair go 1 way or another.

subzerostolly

Dam right atleast his attention has been brought to it same as he said in the video he wants to go back and get through berserk haikyu and that’s good if he’s ever close to ending a series he may surprise us with avatar too

Cebrailltd

I have shown your wise words to Khan, fitting coming from the goat.

AsuraRival

Its my No. 2 after One Piece, nothing gets this close. Easily clears Re Zero, Fairy Tail, Bleach, Solo Leveling and other series ...

Snook

I know it might be hard to believe now but in my opinion Gintama reaches this level of greatness later in the story. I hope at least one of your trusted mods has already told you this

Nippon

You probably already know but just to make sure, Hohenheim didn't leave his family because of all the souls inside of him and because he felt like a monster. It shows him at his desk, he says "that bastard" and then tells Trisha he has to leave. He left them because he figured out fathers plan of the nationwide transmutation circle and had to leave to stop it. He basically started working on his counter to father that let all the Amestrian souls return to their bodies. So he basically left Trisha and Ed and Al to save the world. Also,, when it comes to favourite animes I cheat, I say favourite long anime is One Piece and favourite short anime is FMAB

Nippon

Also to add, Alex Armstrong was called a coward by his sister for running from the battlefield in Ishbal, but his sister ran this time (although she was injured so it's a bit different)

Bling Blaow

I agree, if khan is really thirsty he can also watch the movie star of milos but tbh it isnt very special, soundtrack slaps though. The same with the original fullmetal. Beautiful score.

(Phoenix_ava)

ending's make or break a series for me personally, the journey and the end make it for me overall. for me a bad ending sours the journey, hence fmab>Naruto, its close though

ronri

i do not appreciate how your opinion differs from mine
