I get that Mushoku Tensei raises eyebrows early on especially with how the main character is introduced. But that’s actually part of what makes the series so unique. It doesn’t shy away from portraying a deeply flawed person at rock bottom, and the story is about his growth from that point forward. The show doesn’t glorify his behavior it uses it as a starting point for a long-term redemption arc. Beyond that, the animation is stunning, the worldbuilding is insanely detailed, and the character development is incredibly well done. It’s not just another isekai it’s the blueprint that inspired many that came after. If you give it a real chance, it becomes something genuinely meaningful. Just saying.

Mushoku Tensei has one of the best stories and worlds in anime, it's definitely worth pushing through the uncomfortable scenes. Can definitely understand how it's a bit offputting at first.
