Smilee

Johnn

JUZZZT DOUUUU ITTTT~~

MrChelseaDan

Khan idk if you’ll read this or not (if not maybe someone can tell him?), but the scene with Gintoki and Katsura fighting the amanto in benizakura doesn’t have that soundtrack in the episodes and is way less epic in general, so I’d definitely recommend the movie!

Johnn

i already talked to him about the scenes he'll be missing but he prefers to try the episodes

Johnn

yeh. hopefully he rewatches the fight at the very least.

Ali Abd al-Nur

Wtf, All big 4 members were introduced so early in the story? Man I am getting old

scott

Firstly, he's seen the movie. Secondly, Gonna disagree heavily! The song that plays during the episodes is better, fits better, and feels more hype cause you recognize it. He also already said that because he's seen the movie he's gonna watch the episodes this time instead.

scott

Technically he won't be missing any scenes because the episodes came out first. And he's already seen the movie. Let him watch the episodes with the better song and the fire cliffhangers!

Johnn

I disagree heavily. The flashback is done way better in the movie with some additional scenes. Although it's nothing huge, i appreciate the movie adding those small additions to the flashback. The fight in the movie is done way better. And the OST in the movie is way more hype. The overall tone in the movie is more serious as well. The only plus i see with him doing the episodes is having him breakdown each episode.

MrChelseaDan

True, even though the flashback scenes are technically filler (also Kamui), they’re so dopee and add a lot to the experience! I understand why he wants to watch the episodes, but he should know the majority of us recommend the movie 😂😂 maybe he could do a poll?

scott

But he's seen the movie already! And I disagree about the ost but that's subjective forsure! Maybe he can come back to it when they start teasing it in the anime? (remember they start dropping trailers?) Release order would be great, starting with the episodes. Best of both worlds! (Also I do like the movie)

Johnn

Naw he already knows the movie would win the poll. The movie is pretty much the superior version, but i guess i can understand why he wants to try the episodes
