Ok lets be honest boys if it wasnt for the attachment we have for the one piece characters, wouldnt you say soul society arc beats enies lobby atleast. Because of the whole robin story i still find it hard to admit its better, and since the one piece characters are so lovable its hard to compare another anime’s arc to it, but by god man it’s extremely close or even debatable that it could be better.

They're definitely close, and objectively both top tier arcs. I was neither agreeing or disagreeing, just pointing out that the hype of experiencing it in real time can inflate our opinion of something. Your opinion of it may hold true 6 months down the road, or it may not, it's just something to consider.

and to be honest you're not wrong. i feel like there are certain one piece fans that just cant admit another anime has an aspect better than one piece, i mean look at me man, i say ft music kills off one pieces music, don't mean its better lol. favourite character in all of anime is in naruto, favourite fight ever is in dragonball z, but yh from start to where one piece is now as an overall journey its the best for me

Ive already watched bleach and I had a think about it and honestly you could say that Soul society is a better arc than enies lobby actually. And I LOVE One piece nothing beats it but this arc bro. Its definitely understandable if someone does think it is better than enies lobby.

Just a small correction Khan, you said Renji was the first Bankai we've seen but it wasn't! If you remember in episode 44, Captain Mayuri (Crazy science clown guy) released his Bankai against Ishida (the giant baby worm thing) and Ishida removed his glove to defeat it. So we saw Captain Mayuri Banki first, and today we saw Renji's and Captain Byakuya's.

I remember you always saying you're a sucker for a daddified character design, i'm not saying its the main reason as to why your loving Bleach so much, but keep that in mind as well as the feels you were maybe not expecting throughout. The plot twists and mystery. I think we could arguably say we haven't had this many questions, character development and epic fights in such a short span of time. i know what you mean Uz, its almost like with Bleach you get so much bang for your buck.

Hey Khan just remembered you saying if we felt you missed anything to point it out. It's a moment that happens in ep 39 around 57:60 (if you watch your reaction here ep 37-40) the white Ichigo says a line to Zangetsu that may seem quite harmless there and then, but the more you think about what's being said and by whom..it may open up more questions (like we need em lol) you read it out, but you didnt stop or question it like we're used to you doing. Just thought id point it out and see if you have a second take on it. with the music and setting its quite an ominous line and always down for your interpretations.

Most one piece fans just can't admit to another show being better than one piece to be honest even if it is they will keep denying it and lie to themselves. At the very least bleach has the best beginning arc of almost any show there is period not just shounen

I always scratch my head when people talk about "most fans" of any kind. Most fans are not "super geeks" that are spending 24/7 of their life defending what they're fans of but normal people who simply enjoy something. These "fans" you are talking about are a minority like in any fandom but sadly a super loud and obnoxious minority. You think most people who are patrons of Khan are not One Piece fans?? Where are the hundreds of people shitting on Khan's take? I only see a handful that disagreed with him and everyone stayed civil.

I don't talk about spoilers but still Khan please don't read my reply. Doesn't Khan always say if there is something plain open to see like Kaien being Ganju's brother etc. that we should tell him when he forgets. But also if there is miniscule things that are more hidden.. even though it's being said in the episode that we shouldn't explain or point out these things? Maybe I'm wrong but to me these kind of "ohh especially look at this or that scene, cause there might be some foreshadowing" isn't it kind of a spoiler or ruining future moments if he didn't pick up on it himself? Even if he picked up on it himself.. you pointing out this exact scene makes it a dead giveaway that there's more to come of it in the future.. So yea it's kinda spoilery..

likewise Uz dont read my reply just in case bro. I see what you mean dude, & I would never try to purposefully elude to anything that would spoil for him. I was just thinking its a moment that happens in the open that's pretty interesting. The fact he sees it and reads the dialogue himself i assumed it would be ok for him to maybe revisit as he didnt seem to pick up on it at the time. I suppose if we move forward and he asks if he was ever given any hints then its okay for us to confirm that moment. Again i appreciate your point of view i'm always about Khan giving us the most authentic reactions ever. This was just a little grey area for me as it was something he'd seen himself in the ep but seemed to not pick up on. i'll avoid elaborating just in case.
