Might not have an in depth story compared to certain other anime but that means nothing when there are so many more factors for what makes an anime great (not that the story is lacking.. bleach has a fucking great story with alot of mysteries yet to be shown, but just in comparison to the likes of one piss i mean...which btw is heavily focused on story for the most part lol) Just to name a few mysteries in bleach - the soul king, certain peoples bankais, ichigos true blood line, the old 13 court guard squad captains, kenpachis true history and the gates of hell. These one piss fanboys clutching at straws rn...the only decent argument u can make is 'world building and good story' - bleach has the best written villain in any anime, the best ost's and usage at the right moments/scenes, consistently hype, good fillers, badass character designs, insanely good animation for its time, its not as predictable as other shounen trash, all the dots connect from early stages of the anime towards the end (certain characters behaviours etc), and tybw arc is the best arc in any anime period. Theres so many more factors than story alone you absolute geezers. Bleach has so much more than just a great story, it heavily outweighs anime that for the most part only have good stories... sad reality.

More important characters died in OP than Bleach. Literally the only important character on the protagonist side. Not a single relevant character on the protagonist's side died in Soul society arc nor the entire arrancar saga. The reverie arc alone has more story in 10 chapters than the entire arrancar saga; the only thing to come close to the reverie is "turn back the pandelum" section and even that doesn't come close to good as writing as the reverie arc, the rest of the arc was typical fighting and characters explaining what their powers are just so they can lose like a bunch of morons or no relevant character dying while characters actually died in Wano lmao.
