Because Sanji is mid Marco only went to help Zoro because he knew he was useful but let Midji get clapped by Queen. As anime only I predict Zoro will defeat King then save Sanji from Queen and win that too then go help Luffy with Kaido with Sanji running for Robin (I know far fetch)

this is cap. plurality in japanese is ambiguous. because marco said the star finally arrived it can be concluded that he was talking about zoro because Lanji was there the entire time marco was therefore talking about zoro.

They're not changing the story they're just changing lines, they might change more later on. Reason being is Oda has to appease the Sanji fans with a few cool scenes every few years because he's stuck. Toei focuses on the real fanbase, no one cares about the retarded simps.
