I'm not religious at all, never have been and never will be. But the way I see all religion is less of a confined institutional following and more a personally intimate and spiritual following. Every religion has it's base foundation but it's how each individual decides to pray, to follow and devote themselves to it that defines what that religion means to them. If Khan finds it within himself to not want to say the word God due to how he himself follows his religion, that's his choice and his choice alone as long as it doesn't intrude on others faith or even lack thereof.

I think that contextually the uses are a bit different so it might be that Khan doesn't like to refer to other specific entities as gods, for instance in this chapter when they are referring to other deities and praying to them. I remember when he reacted to Skypiea in the anime he didn't like to call Enel a god despite the series early in the arc depicting and calling him that. However when referring to "his god" it perhaps is more acceptable to him seeing as he's referring to his own belief in the Islamic god. Regardless I wouldn't be able to speak for Khan on why he does or doesn't say certain things, it's his business and no one else's, these are just my own assumptions based on what I personally, from an outsider perspective, understand regarding religion and independent belief. Simply responding in hopes it'll give a little bit of food for thought to satiate Guillem's curiosity or anyone else's.

I don't think Oda realises if he's killed Hawkins or not lol. For all we know Hawkins is gonna appear on a cover story or Deus ex-machina during final war, not saying I think he's alive, just saying I don't trust Oda enough to convince me with utmost certainty that he's dead with all the horrible and terrible asspull fake outs he's done, one of the biggest downfalls with his writing.
