Genuinely y tho? He had a pretty lengthy and interesting character arc over the whole story and he had a terrifying villain display in alabasta imo. I think his mafia don design is baller too. Not hating just interested why you dont like him.

@marcel Nothing about his character was interesting to me. His best qualities are found in other characters (conniving) but done way better and handled better. He comes to marineford with no interesting motivations besides being bitter of his past. And even those archetypes for characters are more comedic so it's more fitting. Overall was extremally bored and disappointed with his role in the story but hopefully the future arcs and cross guild help.

Valid points tbh but I think part of that is the curse of being introduced into the story to early by oda, he had more potential. It looks kinda goofy in hindsight having his criminal syndicate and civil war being stopped by a small pirate group. What interested me was why he decided to switch 180 in marineford and go the extra mile for ace and luffy besides his grudge. But yeah, hyped for the cross guild

The one thing Oda does so well at is make us think "How the hell can this happen" then it making so much sense in the way the events just play out after learning what happened. Like with Buggy being an emperor and even Luffy beating Kaido.
