They haven’t split up any of the other spreads so I’m assuming it was a mistake or something went wrong with uploading. Regardless though this is Khans business so they should at least double check to make sure it’s right.

It's probably a mistake and not done deliberately. Manga plus usually cut double page spreads to two pages when you download the chapter through HakuNeko. It happens all the times with me and that's why I started using mangasee (downloading) and shonen jump app (reading) instead of manga plus. It sucks but shit happens sometimes.

This should NEVER happen. Who are they to decide what Khan can see and ruin what Oda decided to show? This panel was perfectly made by Oda. York appears right away to give a shock to whoever is reading, and they divided the panel? How ridiculous! Khan is an ADULT, not a child. If they do something like this in the next volume, it will be ridiculous...

While khan would've got the same shock factor from York's reveal regardless of whether the page was split up or not, you can't just split up double pages like that because he will read the the page in the wrong order 100% of the time. Double pages are a thing for a reason!

More context for the split double page: (Please upvote so people will notice this.) Sorry everyone, it was completely my fault. I've been editing every double page manually for him, as VIZ splits them by default. Unfortunately I somehow missed 1078 and didn't do the double page merges for that one. Don't worry, 1079 is fixed, it's only 1078 that I somehow messed up.

Tryol and other mods, for tomorrow’s chapter 1079 PLEASE include at the end of the chapter where you show the title that this week is break week and to expect the next chapter to release on April 6th for scans and April 9th for official. Again you guys need to explain to Khan that the spoilers, leaks and hints drop on Sundays all the way to Tuesdays. We don’t want Khan to go looking on Sunday for a chapter when it’s break week and then he accidentally finds spoilers online.

Thing is because Oda's isn't bilangual and doesn't speak english there will NEVER be a true translation, unless someone is in his head or one of his assistant is fluent in english to translate. It is what it is.

It was apparently a mistake on a mod's part where they fused the separated panels of double pages into one. They missed this one. By chance it wasn't big, he had deduced without being sure who the traitor was AND finished the traitor's sentence without the rest of the double page spread. It's a minor mistake. But be aware that from this point on Khan will be subjected with the same shit/mistranslations as everybody else. I'm not sure how he will be able to deal with the 2-3 spoilers if he streams. Can't wait for 1079 tho, we might see him destroy his glass cabinet.

He didn't understand Kaku questioning being called Usopp. He forgot York was petrified and therefore was the only reason he could predict it was her as the traitor. And finally he didn't even notice the last page was split in two when he saw the colored version...

The hints/leaks come out on Sunday/Monday...raw scans are available on Tuesday nights or Wednesday morning...op scan comes out on Wednesday...tcb scan comes out on Wednesday or Thursday and finally official comes out on Sunday so if ur considering the official release, you basically have to stay off the internet the entire week (or 24/7)

Hey mods or I guess specifically Tryol. If you could include Oda's author notes for each chapter? I think it would be a nice touch alongside the title at the end. It's usually one sentence, and you could find it usually on TCB translation( first few pages). Thanks for all the hard work :)

I'm not gonna say Khan should read TCB cuz i already know that's beating a dead horse but I have to agree with this comment, the official translation has its good moments but usually it seems so robotic and scrubbed of any personality or nuance. Like when Lilith and Usopp got turned to stone by S-Snake, in the TCB version they just say "Aww!" but in the official they go "He he he"?? Bruh hehehe sounds way more creepy and weird considering the situation, but "Aww" is perfect, it's a clean and simple way to show they find S-Snake cute/adorable, just like people say aww when they see a puppy. And yeah "Uncle Kizaru" is way better than saying old man, because in Japanese calling someone your uncle in that context has a specific meaning, it's not literally his uncle but someone a bit older who he maybe respects or at least acknowledges as being higher rank in the same organization, and there's a little bit of familiarity like they know each other better than just being cold and distant colleagues. When the official says "Old man Kizaru" they lose a lot of that meaning.
