Hmm... you can do a black girl version, I think, it would be somewhat historically accurate. In old time, cannibalistic tribes of Africa traded slaves as food. And they actually stored "meat" alive cutting limbs so they wouldn't escape; without refrigerators,spices, salt, in heat that was the only way. So when white people came and started buying slaves for hard labor instead of food, it was quite a civilizational improvement...

I suspect there would be a lot more blood if she didn't have some degree of innate fast healing or regeneration, so that probably explains why she isn't particularly concerned about the arcane hand sign issue, she at least won't bleed out or go into shock.
