Updated Beta Add-on: Mobile Pop-up Dictionary (Patreon)

Love the pop-up dictionary add-on but use Anki on mobile a lot? This is going to be your new best friend! 

How to Use It

• Go to AnKing -> Mobile Pop-up Dictionary to access the settings

• Select which note types you would like to include. You can exclude certain fields from the search

• Select which deck you want the dictionary to search from (optional)

• Save and sync! To adjust settings or de-activate the pop-up dictionary, re-visit this config, change the settings and save

❗Important notes: 

• You must be on Anki 2.1.45+ to use this add-on

• The more cards you include, the slower it will take to set up. It may also cause card loading to slow down. This is still in beta and if this happens to you, you may need to decrease how many cards are able to use the mobile pop-up dictionary

• On mobile, it may take a second for it to load before allowing you to tap certain words

• Currently you can only select one word at a time. Support for multiple words is something we may consider in the future
