since it's already the summer, why not focus on Greece and look at some different types of Greek cuisine or the Middle East and focus on some Arabic dishes for a change :)

icemunmun

I am looking at Egypt and Middle East ( mainly Persia/Iranian dishes) . Thanks for the suggestion about Greek food! May add those too!

Retro Trut

Not a problem. You can also look at the UAE and get some ideas as well

I think if you went Persian that would be a GREAT opportunity for a Rose Water canning. I think you have the makings of a great skin care mod and I’m sooo looking forward to seeing that! You already if Shea butter and Castor beans of castor oil! That would be a super sick summer theme!

Sugareul

Japan would be nice!

icemunmun

Yes!! There are so many Japanese dishes I want to do!

I wouldn't mind seeing things like Chicago (US) deep dish pizza, Hungarian goulash, floral candy (rose, violet, etc.), East European pashka, enough ramen types to open a ramen stand, a variety of quick breads and rolls, or even just dumplings or donuts from around the world.

EmeMai

I would like to see some British dishes like toad in the hole, bangers in mash, Sunday roast, sausage rolls, sticky toffee pudding.

Do you think we could have a month dedicated to colombian food later on? I'd love to see it! Some recipes could be arepas(cornmeal patties that are grilled or fried stuffed w cheese/ meat or eggs, bandeja paisa (rice, beans, ground beef, crispy pork belly. fried egg, plantain, chorizo/sausage, avocado + arepa), sancocho (traditional stew made with meat, yuca, plantain, corn, and potatoes), pan de bono (small cheesy bread made w cassava flour), and for dessert obleas (thin wafer filled with arequipe which is colombian dulche de leche), and hot cocoa with melted cheese inside ! Or even other South American dishes would be cool

icemunmun

I kind of want to do that later this year!

icemunmun

I have looked at a lot of Colombian food and will certainly do a bunch of them ..either now or for the upcoming world tour themes! There are so many good food and I checked out all of the ones you mentioned!

icemunmun

I have plans for a bunch of different varieties of Ramen Stand for sure. And I have a breadmaker in the works for baked breads, rolls etc

That'd be awesome! Thank you for considering. :)

I can't wait to see what you will make!! But you know what I would like, one day? An Around India month 😄 The best dishes I ever ate were Indian and I loved the diversity from the veggies dishes of the center of India, the beef ones in the Muslim part and the seafood dishes (did you ever made one for The Sims 4?) of some coastal regions.

icemunmun

I am planning to do something similar for August! Food from different regions. I am from a partly coastal state in India ( my state also has Himalayas up north) and have some plans to make fish based dishes ( fresh fish is kind of staple food for us). I also was planning on a seafood theme or a beachy theme for July! or maybe another tropical themed set for for July

Kassaroll

That is so awesome my sim right now has a small business called around the world eats, thank you!
