hey for the honey update, how do you get honey jars? & also on the screenshots it says make soup, i know this is a different post but was wondering where the link is, I am doing an apocalypse challenge and this would be awesome to have :)

I havent made the soups yet...its a WIP. For honey - craft a multi box and open it to get the jars in the inventory

Ughh thats so weird. How is their cooking and preservation skill level ?

Cooking is at max, lvl 4 preservation, im using the preservation stove and there is a huge chance of fire. Probably ill try the normal stove to create Jam and see if that resolve it

My sim is able to use the preservation table and make apple jam but she freezes each time after with the jar in her hand and I have to force quit. I have the most up to date version of the canning station files from the newest zip

sim is supposed to put it down on a surface. Do you have any mods which affect inventory ? Are surfaces available. Can you test in a new test save ? Do you get any lastexception.txt?

I get a routing failure no matter where I put the preservation station when I try to make anything. My sim can get to it to upgrade it though. I went through comments and saw someone had a similar issue a couple years back but there was never a reply about what the problem was and how to fix it.

You need the outdoor retreat famepack. Also the dont prep food mod interferes with crafting type stations

I've had the same issue as a lot of folks - I go to use the Preservation Station, craft the Apple Jam, and then it freezes once its complete... My sim just stands there holding a jar, locking the game; I can't save, I can't change into BB mode, nothing. I've removed all mods, started a new game without CC, and then added back your mods only - my ts4script fiels are in the main mods, and everything else is in a sub-folder. I even relocated the canning files into the main Mods folder, and that didn't seem to help, either. AFAIK I have the most recent files, including the custom food and drink interaction files.

Its mostly due to the Dont prep food mod

Sorry to bother you, but I can't find the canning station, and the skill bar doesn't appear when I read the skill book.

The canning station appears under stoves . Do you have any override mods or build buy categorizer mods ?

Hello, thank you for making this mod! I am getting the error "[jdimailig] Error invoking TunableModelWrapper._factory (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_model') " and idk how to fix it. Any idea what could be causing it and how to fix? Thanks!

Hi, I've been trying for a few days now to install this, and at first it wasn't working. Now, I havethe thing required for it to work, but the station still isn,t working. I have the recipe when I clic on the fridge and stove, but when I clilc on the station, I have the options, and when I select an option, nothing. How can I fix this ?

So all the sauces from previous versions can be deleted? Were they incorporated into the files for v3?

Yep...all the previous preserves have been merged into the Add ons! I want to keep making batches of preserves and upload them as add ons

Version 3 has new preserves + updated older preserves. This is the latest version. Install all the files in the folder.

I have some to report: 1. Cranberry Orange Relish doesn't show its string in the making list and it requires 6 Apricots 2. Sweet Potato Pickle also requires 6 Apricots and having this pickle with bread gives Right From The Jar moodlet 3. Making Kimchi gives This is my Jam! moodlet and eating Kimchi spread doesn't give the Kimchi Love moodlet. I think most of preserves added in this version give This is my Jam! moodlet regardless of their types 4. Having BBQ source with bread gives Right From The Jar moodlet I really love that this mod keeps updating, thank you

I checked UI problem and I think it is a glitch from the game itself not from this mod. Thank you for the answer and I'm already looking forward to the next update!

I updated the addon_2. Hopefully everything you mentioned is fixed. I will see if there is more wrongly refrenced buff!

thank you for the quick hotfix. 1. there is still empty name for Cranberry Orange Relish 2. 'This is my Jam!' for new pickle/spread/source items. Except for these two, most of them are fixed

I fixed the ones I could quickly fix! I am going to look for the preserves which have wring buffs and fix it ( + Name fix).

Thank you so much again for making such a great mod! I regretfully report that reading the third level Canning book does not give your Sim any experience.

The sims dont gain skill on reading the third level book ? What is your sims's skill when they were reading it ?

They were level seven and eight canning skill, respectively.

Hi there - thank you so much for updating this already amazing Mod! Today I noticed that the Orange Marmelade spoiled after two days sitting on a shelf - other canned goods didn't though, so I'm not sure if this is intentional?

Not intentional thank you! I am currently testing all the preserves but there are so many of them I am missing some lol. Its become such a huge mod that I am loosing track. Thank you so much for the report. If you find anything else report it here!

When I make tomato sauce, I put the jar in the fridge but it won't show up in the recipes. Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have the latest canning station update ? Due to a recent patch i had to add additional tags so they can be recognized as ingredients I may have missed adding the tag to tomato sauce...i will have to check! Also which recipe were you trying to make ?

I know I'm behind, but @FlatbushAve asked if we could delete the indiv. sauces=yes, now in one of the Addons. But there are 2 Addons, do I delete the indiv. jams & spreads &_breads, too? Thx

Delete all the previous files and download this folder. It contains all the merged and updated files!

When I got to do canning on a stove, the interactions just go away. Could it be because it is a CC stove they are using?

Could be. Can you try with a EA stove. Make sure you have custom food interaction script

Good evening Icemunmun! I’ve been a big time fan of your creations and my game feels so empty without it so thank you for all that you do for us! Question on the Canning station preserves. I just got the updated zip folder so there are two files in it that say “preserves custom ingredient” and “EA ingredients”. Do I have to pick between the two or can they both coexist with no issue? Thank you in advance for taking the time to reply

No matter where I put the station, my sim ends up route failing. Dessert cups options are also missing from stoves.

Dessert Jars are available from the fridge as a snack if you have the latest custom food interaction. From the canning station you can make the dessert jars if you have the newest Dessert Jar add on I just uploaded. Is the route failing happening after the latest update ?

Ok let me check if i uploaded the wrong files and get back to you. Also make sure you dont have any of the older versions in your game....they will conflict. Also do you have a stove on the lot which is not accessible? Do you get any LEs ? Is it the same if you place it in a new save ?

I'm also experiencing a routing failure. I'm not getting any LEs, all stoves on my lot are accessible, and my sim is able to clean the canning station if I make it dirty with cheats. So the stove is accessible to cleaning, but throwing a routing error when I try to use it, where the sim will act as though they cannot reach it.

The black plate is only for specific recipes including the canning bread recipes. I think i have included the black plate in this version of the canning station so you no longer need it. It is also included in the custom food interaction package. It does not affect the EA plates

How do I stop the sims from autonomously eating the preserves? I had to hide the bbq sauce in the yardsale table cuz they wouldn't stop grabbing it lol.

Hmm...they are going for the most readily available food i think. Let me see if i can make the preserves less attractive

I'm not sure if this helps or not but I tried using "LMS Choose Leftover mod" afterwards and the bbq sauce showed up in the list of leftovers to choose from.
