I am excited too, especially for the lavender. Why hasn't EA done this already? I mean, I know it's in-game, but it is only deco--like so many items are, why do they think it has to be deco? I wonder who makes those decisions?

2026-09-08 03:00 Is Icemunmun here? The canning mod keeps crashing recently and it drives me nuts. I even used only the canning mod for that save and it still crashes. Weirdly, I can't recreate the crash in other saves. Maybe this is something you can fix...

Do you have outdoor retreat installed ? Without it the game crash can occur. Otherwise it can be save specific

I do have Outdoor Retreat. The crash started happening on late winter, 3rd sim year in this save but I've installed the mod before making this save. Should I post my save here?

When does the crash occur ? on clicking interactions ? You can leave the save on the #issues channel on discord!

2026-09-08 03:00 No matter what I do, the game typically stays alive for around 8-12 sim hours after entering the household. the crash happens randomly, sometimes when the time runs, sometimes when I'm pausing even. When I playtest, actually it only crashes when the game runs on normal speed. I still have 2 videos when it crashed since I stream. I'm not sure where to find the Discord link here and I'm not a Patron.

Yep. The patch was very minor and didnt really affect much

I am looking for people to test the save file. I tested the canning station extensively in my own saves and couldnt find any issue. I am currently in the process of making many additions to the canning station so am testing lots ofbthings in my game.

What happens in a different save ? Its something in that particular save. I dont have extended households though. Just regular ones

Weird... it still crashes... Just tested it now... I thought the game update could help, but nope. I actually tried a family of 16 sims with similar setup in another save the other day, but it didn't crash.

It doesn't after 3 days in the new save, but it's still so weird... I tried saving as the save that I've given and it still crashed. I'm not sure if moving the whole lot and sims into a new save will help. Like saving those to my gallery.
