Bull

Chitterlings. We eat this every New Years eve.

Evs

On New Years day we eat black eyed peas for luck & greens with neck bones for money

Vanessa Kuhn

Well, it's heading for Summer here, but the soups I mentioned above is lovely. And stuffed pancakes.

Windy Butler

Yes, I am with Bull. Soul food dinner. Chitterlings, collard greens with potato salad and corn bread!!!😁

Jade

This is more of a drink but I'd love to see your taken on Wassail in the game! It's like a cider basically, but it's a traditional pagan drink made during winter, especially around Yule. Same for Kremas, it's a creamy spiced Haitian drink 🥰🖤

Hannah S

Chicken and dumplings 😭

Ardled

Oven dishes are perfect for that time - with vegetables, meat or fish. Oven roasts. Cabbage dishes and all those winter vegetables. Cassoulet in France is a good one - https://www.thespruceeats.com/chicken-and-sausage-cassoulet-recipe-1375528. - https://www.thespruceeats.com/slow-cooked-shoulder-of-lamb-casserole-435662 - Dishes with Lentils https://www.thespruceeats.com/slow-cooked-shoulder-of-lamb-casserole-435662 - https://www.thespruceeats.com/smoked-sausage-with-cabbage-and-apples-3060636. southern US holiday foods like cornbread dressing, yams, greens, mac and cheese, bbq...i think you've done these already but not all on one plate together

icemunmun

In one plate ? Like a huge platter of food with everything together ? What will it be called ? I will look up pics for inspiration!

Mama P Sims

Yes maybe have the platter with separate dishes but when the Sim takes a serving it's a plate with everything on it. Google "southern Thanksgiving dinner plate" and you'll see photos. Some add during beans and dinner roll too

Mama P Sims

I know myself and many others in the US would go nuts if you made that lol bless you and thank you

Brittany Feldhake

Along this same line, this is very reminiscent of a southern US New Years dinner. My family in SC would do ham hock, collard greens, black eyed peas, lima beans, and mac and cheese. All of those may vary by family, but that's our tradition at my grandparents' house

Cozy foods - mmm... baked butternut squash, chicken and buttermilk biscuits, sweet potato casserole with marshmallows, peppermint bark, Christmas ham with cloves, hot apple cider, and apple cider doughnuts. I also make pumpkin pancakes and apple cinnamon rolls this time of year. Something with cranberries.
