Where’s the baby - WIP (Patreon)

I thought I would explain the red hands in the first 2 panels. Often when there are body parts that overlap other parts of the body I will draw them on another layer, doing it in different colours helps me see things more clearly.

Eirinn in blue in the 5th panel but red in the last panel because I drew the 5th panel, copied it and then drew Red Eirinn over the top of Blue Eirinn before erasing Blue Eirinn. This helps me keep track of proportions and make sure things line up. In animation it’s called ‘onion skinning’ when you look at the frames before/after the one you’re currently drawing.
