Gregory Horror Show - ROUGH (Patreon)

I don't know about you but I'm quite taken by just the black and white main character doodle sprite. Maybe I could change my name to 1bitcrook...ah but then I'd lose the pun :D. 

Catherine really did start out looking like Porygon didn't she? While some doodles are intentionally rushed just to get something down so I can start reworking/rebuilding it, I actually really ended up using a good chunk of that Porygon-esque Catherine. Just some minor shrinkage and added appendages and Catherine was born. 

As usual, I do love my menus and the soul collection scrap book was a lot of fun to work on. Early on I had to decide whether to cut it into 2 pages of 6 icons, or what I ended up doing which was 3 pages of 4 icons. One could even go further and I could have had 6 pages of 2 icons or 12 pages with a page having one icon each page. I *think* that latter one while extreme would perhaps have been a pretty good choice because it would have had a lot more space to do detailed pictures, along with the characters name and perhaps even combo it with the character page entries. Either way I think it turned out alright! 

Would be nice if Gregory could get a modern release, a remastered version or just a straight forward port to e-shops or steam and such. Truly is a neat little game that is very charming in both writing/voice acting and gameplay. A survival horror which plays it cartoony and doesn't have traditional combat is really neat!
