No this is actually pretty good I watched it all the time as a kid it was one of the only DVDs we owned because my parents wanted us to know about how no hobby is better than others.

We saw this in Bible Camp. Gurney David's persecution really resonated with all of us. And the part where he "turns the other cheek" so he can be more comfortable on the gurney was super funny

He was persecuted so we could all enjoy a weird hobby. I once knew a guy who filled his entire apartment with small mud men. I still can’t believe he was evicted.
