Stretch & Sniff - Page 1 [WIP] (Patreon)

As always, starting out slow, atmospheric, and with an unexpected boatload of preliminary work, like giving the cafe's logo a much-needed update 🥴

We also haven't seen the exterior of the cafe since page 7 of A Show of the Ropes (over 5 years ago! Ack!!), so I took a little extra time to flesh out the surrounding setting a little more. While I've always loved the idea of it being nestled in evergreens (sic: easier to draw), I also wanted it to feel more like it was part of a city & community, like something you could walk to! Maybe it's situated right up against a city park? Who knows :^)

Thanks for your patience as I've gotten started on this! I'm simultaneously figuring out the visual language of this comic while getting myself back into the rhythm of making comic pages, and while it's been a process, this week has felt like a great start in terms of getting back on track ^__^
