Crow Buddies Video and Exciting News! (Patreon)

Hello, Everyone~1)

Some of you might have seen this on Youtube, but I finally grabbed one of the wee crow videos I've been making and made a short video. I think this is the first time I gave them rice. I usually try for protein rich foods (unsalted peanuts, dog food, fish), but I can't help to give them something different and see their reactions. Nothing dangerous! I check first! This video's very recent. I have pre-baby videos, baby crows being goofs videos, me giving little intelligence tests to them to see how darned smart they are videos, the works! I'm learning so much just watching them and I'm getting good at understanding what the different caws, clucks, coos, trills mean. At the moment the clumsiness and curiosity of the three babies is my favorite thing. As is the strangling sound when they're being fed by mom or dad. I swear sometimes it sounds like they're saying words. I need to find the videos I took of them seemingly talking while being fed.

And finally, I got super lonely the other day -- probably gloomy dystopian thoughts and too much news -- but on a whim I checked ticket prices and found some super cheap flights to Hokkaido. Very last minute, but we're going to spend a couple days with my son Julyan and his girlfriend and YAY!! We're doing "Road Trip on a Shoestring"!

But now that I'm getting the hang of making little videos, I'll be making some of cool places we visit for extra Patreon content. Crows will have to subsist on juicy frogs, plump tadpoles, berries, and other dreadful things until I get back. Everyone stay safe and well, XO,
