Another Bedtime Story: "Nezumi" (Patreon)

Hey hey!

This next Bedtime Story is cute, too. It's called "Nezumi" meaning rat or mouse. Like a sweet little parable.

I'm just now realizing how short it is though. I'll do something longer next month. At the moment the temperature is insane, even at night. We're getting excessive heat warnings and announcements over the outdoor loudspeakers telling everyone to stay inside and stay cool. I can't record with the air conditioner on because of the noise and it would be too expensive to cool that entire room for me to sit in for a short time, so I think I gravitated toward something I knew wouldn't leave me drenched. These past two are both in the public domain, but I think for the next one I'll find a story from one of my folklore texts and translate that. I haven't had time to sit down and do that in awhile and quite miss it. Oh, I wanted to share this listener artwork. I can't stop looking at it. First, I'm a cutie, hey-yah! But seriously how talented is Spencer? I think the only thing up for debate is which one's Richard? Ha! I'm groveling at his pure unadulterated magnificence. Even the Japanese is spot on. 😭💕
