Hello, hello!

I know it's not good by any stretch, but it was so much fun to make. I have this magical super power where I can bork anything techy or computer related. So this was a feat and R was a trooper and great help with all my pleas for, well, help. I'm proud to say I figured out some of the fancy-schmancy stuff (freeze frame! slo mo!) but searching Youtube and not bothering him.

So here it is, after a full day and a half, I got a three-minute crow video made!

XO,

Hahaha the ending! 😂😂😂😂 I love their little hops!

Hah! That was fun. Three minutes of my day well spent. Thank you!

(uh ... three minutes and forty-three seconds of my day well spent, I meant—the whole thing was good.)

Love the crow family! I saw lots of crows when I was over in Tokyo and Tohoku in July. In one park in Shinjuku there were notices saying "Beware of Crows" which puzzled me. I could understand the "Beware of Hornets" signs (the size of those things!!), but are crows a danger in Japan? What do they do? (Apart from poop on your laundry!)

Seán

hehehe Love the "OM NOM NOM" sound of the hungry baby getting fed. p.s. Did you ever see the documentary "Tokyo Waka"?

The ending had me in stitches. It was supposed to a longer hold on that look he gave me, but something went wrong between finishing it and rendering it.

I think the city crows get very forward about stealing people's food. We saw lots of signs in Hokkaido about Beware of Crows, but the few I saw seemed quite polite. Once when J was in kindergarten and we were on a picnic with some friends at a park, a crow swooped down and stole some of our snacks. I was stunned, but my two Japanese friends were angry and funny. They always steal the most expensive stuff! Also, I'm worried about the popping on the laundry. So far they keep that on the food side of the veranda.

Well, clearly, they are having a good time!

Oh, okay! That was brilliant! That guy's doing it right. I also like the idea of talking over and explaining things. Hmmm....gears are whirring. Need a 3D printer. Kidding. But here I am rigging up empty toilet paper tubes... Nice channel! Thanks for sharing 🙏

Toilet paper tubes are probably a smarter option in Japan! 3D printers are notoriously terrible with humidity, and AFAIK Japan gets rather muggy throughout much of the year...

We have similar problems with seagulls in coastal areas of the UK. Once I was at a picnic on a beach and a gull swooped down and snatched a tuna sandwich from my friend's hand!

I LOVE the music in this video! So much fun watching them! They had the best time and even left you a present 💩 ✨️ lol
