Hey, Everyone (*^_^*)〜

Ad-free episodes attached. This is the last of the mini series.

A crow update real quick, too. So the situation has changed. I do think the little nestling we heard cawing in that lone pine tree has passed away...maybe flew away? But I am now thinking that wasn't Buddy and Sweet Pea's nest.

I've had a couple hints of hope. One is that they were both coming and very non-shy about getting close to eat. Then just like that Sweet Pea disappeared. Now it's only the male crow. But I watch him bury his food in the rice fields near the shrine. The shrine with the line of trees they built their nest in last year. I would guess he'd bury his food close to where the nest is.

Then today when I was out watching the sunset with Buddy, -- I'm convinced he calls me at dusk so we can watch it together, it had nothing to do with the fact I give him a few peanuts before he retires for the night -- anyway, as we were watching, another crow goes zooming over us and flew straight to one of the shrine trees. I squinted and am fairly sure I saw a big ol nest way up high. I'll investigate tomorrow. And by investigate, I mean I'll just walk by the shrine and see if I hear anything or see anything. I won't bother them. But I do remember last year she vanished for awhile, then next thing I know they're both out cawing like crazy and I go out to see three very clumsily flying babes. So fingers crossed🤞.

Interview with Ancient Aliens next week. Still no questions. It's amazing how down to the wire these TV people are. Less than a week, no questions, no location (just somewhere in Tokyo), but they pay promptly! Unlike publishing which takes....forever. Right now Richard and I are just super excited we'll get to go to Tokyo and hopefully find some good Mexican food. I haven't been to Tokyo to hang out in a decade or so.

I'll leave you with a one-minute video of Buddy being his cute little self. This is the windiest place I've ever lived. I love that the down under his feathers is white. You can see it at the end when he's drinking water and the windy hits him.

I hope everyone is safe and well. I know every day is hard. I keep waking up thinking the nightmare will be over...

XOXO,

I'm not saying it's queer allegory, but I'm not saying it isn't
