Goodies Sent, Bedtime Story Coming! (Patreon)

I kid you not, it's been pouring for two weeks straight, and we have a typhoon running up on us next week, so it'll just keep raining with a bonus of added wind and fallen trees. Yay! 

Complaints aside, today I was able to sneak away from work and mail the postcards (above) and envelopes to the Patrons who get those. They should be arriving in about a week. Keep an eye out.

I also want to profusely thank all my Patrons. I was able to use the money I've gotten so far to buy a new (good) mic and a few other recording items that will make the sound of the podcast and the Bedtime Story better. I'll post a photo of what I picked up...here or somewhere. It doesn't look like Patreon lets you post more than one photo in a post. I even made a little "studio" and it's hilarious. Maybe I'll blog it. I'll let you know.

I used the new equipment on the latest podcast (episode 11, The Devil's Gate), and I think you can best tell the difference in the quality if you listen to the actual podcast compared to the outro speaking part. That's where it's most noticeable, I think. I'll re-record the outro eventually. But for now, to me, it's like day and night. Thank you all!

I lost a weekend last weekend when I had to go to the Japan Writers Conference for two days (I actually gave a talk, my first in, well, ever.). That set the Bedtime Story back a week. I'm translating it at the moment and will get it recorded this weekend. It'll be up here by Monday. *Fingers crossed*

It feels like I have so much more to say, but need to run and work on the story. Let me know what you're thinking and  thanks again for everything!
