Feeling Like This Fella (Patreon)

I'm feeling a little bit like that cicada up there. 

Okay. Bedtime Story is recorded, edited, and waiting for a music bed. Person who makes the music isn't answering his phone or messages. *insert angry grumblings and shakings of fists here* 

As soon as that gets done, I'll be posting ASAP. I'm guessing early this week. The story is called "The Three Devils". Always about the devils, eh? 

There's been a setback with my  Big Idea about two podcasts a month. Actually, I got it recorded and was even lucky enough to binuarally mic a local summer festival, too! The problem? Suddenly (since last month), iTunes has decided not to accept my podcast from the server it's hosted on. It looks like Tech Guy is going to have to move all the podcasts and posts over to Libsyn. Huge pain in the butt. But I want to have all that set up before throwing another podcast at him to dandy up. Maybe three in September? Right now we're playing it by ear. Two full days of troubleshooting and so much talking to various support people and others in the know. It seems like no one has ever had this exact problem before. It *should* work.  

I'm also wanting to put a meta podcast on here for just my Patrons (interview with the Tech Guy). We tried a week ago but too much laughing and silliness ensued. Need to try again later today. We'll see if he's in the mood or not.

I had an ear thing where my hearing decided to go and excruciating pain decided to come. The doctor even freaked ME out when he jumped and yelped at whatever he saw in my ear. Much scraping, whimpering, and meds later and the good news is it's much better now. I saw him again yesterday and he was impressed with the non-grossness of it. 

Other news? Umm...envelopes mailed last week, postcards being painted today, Bedtime Story coming soon as well...a little freaked out with the BoingBoing gig. It's fun and scary and feels a bit like I'm out at sea. I know what I want to write, but I'm not sure if that's what the BoingBoing readers want to read. So for now I'm testing the waters (to continue the metaphor).
