Writing deadline met. Surgery for elbow scheduled. Bedtime Story recorded and put up. Edits for newspaper article done. Day job tests for kiddies made and printed. Prep for side gigs finished. Emails about interviews answered. Podcast recorded and put up. 

Aaaaand...finally, envelopes and postcards sent!

So sorry for the delay, but I'm pretty sure the busy-ness will calm down after this. I've already got the next podcast idea in my head and pretty excited about it. Hint: It involves oni! 

The above photo is of the little old lady I talked to about the Rock that Cries at Night. I mention her in this month's podcast. That little ceramic jar is full of Ghost Candy. She twirled those chopsticks to get a great big gob of the taffy like stuff and sold it to the kids for a few yen. 

I'm sending some of the same stuff -- in hard candy form -- to my Tengu and Oni Patrons this month. Consistency is different, but the taste is the same. Be the first person in your neighborhood to eat Ghost Candy!
