Remember last year when I was asked to do the 12-week long serialized story for Asahi Weekly and I wrote "Sasa and the In-Between"?

Well, the editor just got ahold of me and asked if I'd do another. They usually don't ask an author back on those long stories, and if they do it's after several years of having other writers' try their hand. But I guess there was a really good reaction to last year's story, so they wanted me to do another. Of course, I said yes!

Don't have a title yet, but I do have a very vague idea of characters and story arc.

I'll let you know as things progress. Since the rights revert back to me after the last chapter is published, I'm thinking about recording it as a several episode audio drama for children. Since I have to write with an audience that is using English as their second language in mind, it's easier for me to do this by making the protagonist a young girl (Sara) or boy (this year's story, Keita). It's going to be quite adventure-y and exciting with a heart warming ending, so it might work. Plus with Richard's new sound effect and music bed chops, I think we could put together something really fun.

Of course, you all get first listen, without a doubt!
