Nighttime Bugs Chilling in Long Grass: Binaural Sounds (Patreon)

Hello-hello, everyone! How are all things?
Here's an update and crickets.
1) First, I wanted to peel away those sweetly chirring insects from the latest episode and share them here. I went out late last week and set up in this very grassy field near the shrine. Still, some kind of motorized scooter zipped by during my recording. But in headphones the insects sound lovely and the scooter is a very natural left to right, or right to left.
I'm going to go someone a little distant and interesting next time. Not sure where yet. Something not crickets though.
2) There are a lot of things going on at the moment. I'm super into the mid-grade book I started to write. That and the podcast/Bedtime Stories are ALL I WANT TO DO. Which is a little scary. Enormously fun and fulfilling, but remembering to take out the garbage, wash clothes, and change out of pajamas are also important.
3) Richard is still working on the cooking bit. Getting ever closer. I think the intro is perfectly fine and he should put it up. But tweaking and studying and perfecting miso soup are the daily routine at the moment.
4) I mailed out the envelopes to the countries I can send to. Still stockpiling little goodies. I did mail a bunch of postcards to everyone who should get them. So there are some going back months. I also went ahead and sent to Australia and New Zealand. I have a feeling they'll get there. It feels good that things are opening up a little.
Okay. I think that is all for now. It feels like I have more to say but I can't remember at the moment.
Please take care and I'll be back soon with the Bedtime Story and a summer recipe I made (just photos), one of my favorites.
XO,
terrie
