Here's the extra story I mentioned in the latest podcast. A short true thing that happened to me that's a little unnerving.

Still.

XO,

terrie

P.S. Let me know if the sound is off. I did this one all my myself as well.

The sound was just fine. Perhaps the music could be a bit louder, but that's a matter of personal taste.

This is so creepy, Terrie! Thank you for sharing. *shudder*

Wait but... was your son dreaming too? Had your husband actually come home? Did you ask him if he'd "stopped by" or something that night? BTW so glad you came through (the cancer) in the end.

I tried ducking this time, where the music getting softer as you talk then louder again in the silences. But because the music was sparse and quiet to begin with...I probably should have just left it as is. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing such a personal and painful experience, Thersa. I think it's a rare, wonderful gift to be able to convert scary, negative personal experiences into beautiful stories. And it's also a great coping mechanism too. I'm glad you fully recovered <3

WOW. I consider myself a skeptic but that’s a tough one to explain away. Thank you for sharing something so personal and of course so glad you recovered ❤️

Thank you for sharing your experience. SO DISTURBING. I'm so glad you recovered. I imagined the story as the opening 30 minutes of a stylish horror film about dark spirits vs. explicable grim.events and the spaces in-between, tbh. Kind of like what Guillermo del toro does in Pan's Labyrinth and The Devil's Backbone.
