Soothing Stories Podcast: Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll - Ch. 1 (Patreon)

Several things going on:

1) Finally at a place where I can start recording and putting up the non-Japan related stories over on Soothing Stories Podcast. I'm going to read Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. One chapter at a time. Boy, my thoughts on the story have really changed, reading it now versus reading as a school aged kid. 

I'm still going to read the whole thing. Some absurdity that might cause drowsiness. Then after that some soothing gothic horror. 

2) Richard made a Discord server so that's up and running. Or whatever the lingo is. He really wants to share snippets of audio and things he's working on for the show to get feedback and that seems like the best place to do it. 

So if you're on Discord or are interested in that, it's available to all patrons no matter your tier. I have no idea what I'm doing, but it looks pretty fun. 

3) Been listening to the other podcasts that were nominated alongside us for the New Jersey Web Fest and holy crap (!!) they are good. And HUGE teams of people. I'm torn from being absolutely humbled to be alongside these shows and realizing how far we still have to climb. 

4) This months Bedtime Story is recorded and my half of the editing is done. We'll get that up before the end of the month. 

5) Postcards have been hanga'd and painted and addressed. They'll be going out this week as well. Envelopes, too. I ordered something special for this month. Waiting for those to arrive. 

6) Aaand I got a recipe I'm going to put up for next month. It's something I've made throughout the years, been fiddling with, and this last time turned out quite well. So otanoshimi~!
