Oh my gosh, ya'll ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+

I've just finished the halfway mark on the book. It's feeling good, coming together and all. I have to send this to the editor sometime today and then get started on the second half. I can have my brain and life back in late June. This month's Bedtime Story is "Tengu" by Lafcadio Hearn. I'm going to go about searching for something longer for next month. Translated folktale in July. ヽ(´▽`)/

I hope everyone is well. XO,

terrie

Woohoo! Half way through, keep up the great work! You’re a wonder, Terrie ❤️

Really loved the descriptions of all the Gods and spiritual beings in this one.

Uncanny Japan -- Thersa Matsuura

There was another story I wanted to read, too. I wanted to read two, actually. But time was super short and I needed to get the scientific names right. But he makes this insane leap of thought comparing moths to humans and I actually woke up at three am thinking about it. I love how unexpected he often is. This always reminds me, during covid lockdown a friend here who knows his grandson (I think...wouldn't be son would it?) wants to introduce us and I just couldn't during peak corona. But now...I need to contact him again!
