Bedtime Story: "Aoyagi" (Patreon)

After I put up this month's Bedtime Story (L.Hearn, "Aoyagi"), I'm going to do another quick run through of the last half of the book, make sure I have all 30 reference art files sorted, and then send the whole kit and caboodle to my editor. A quick overnight in the mountains day after tomorrow, which I'm terribly looking forward to. I remember there was a local folklore book in the room last time. Since I'll have time -- because I'm planning on doing nothing but reading and resting -- I'll find something from there to translate for July's Bedtime Story. "Aoyagi's" an interesting tale. At times you're like...a~lmost cringe, but in the end, it's ...well, an interesting tale! I won't give anything away.

Oh! I got asked to do another 12-part serialized story for the Asahi Newspaper again, but I think this time, I might have to take a raincheck. I got to zoom with my agent during some contract talks and he seemed very keen on my writing my own stuff.

Stay well, lil' beasties, I adore youヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ
