February Bedtime Stories: Ainu Folktales! (Patreon)

Putting up February Bedtime Story(ies) a couple days late (So, so sorry 🙏). I'll get March up BEFORE April. I promise （^Ｏ^)☆♪  

Actually, I'm aiming for mid March. I took the Christmas and birthday money my mom popped into my account and booked two nights in Karuizawa. It's weird. I was really aiming for Izu or somewhere around the foot of Fuji-san, but I got overwhelmed with all the choices, closed my eyes, and poked the map. 

Karuizawa it is! It's about a three and a half hour drive from here. My feeling is it's a bit touristy/resorty. All I know is it's where John and Yoko used to go to get some quiet. I also know I got to pay in US dollars which makes is very cheap, too. I'm looking at cool places to visit now. 

Ha. Here they are.

Okay. Crawling back out of that rabbit hole.

I'll have March Bedtime Story up before we leave (in two weeks). Richard and I were born a couple days apart and we didn't really celebrate or anything yet. Plus he literally sent the audio book to Simon and Schuster yesterday so that. is. DONE! So for sanity's sake, I think we need a slight getaway. I'm on hunt of temples, shrines, and nature. I promise to report back here anything interesting we come across. 

Oh, and before I forget, this masterpiece I doodled last night 😆. It's one of the Ainu stories.
