Some concept context!

After the defeat of Halis and Malvolia, Inferna took the crown as Queen of Nynrien. Inferna ruling over the Hybrids while Ryan rules over the humans, creating a balance between both species and giving the Hybrids their freedom back. The Wizards tried to resurrect Malvolia, since she is vital to their plan on become the top dogs of their land. But since Mal's killing blow was to her brain, they're having difficulty to bring her back. So as a backup, they revived Halis expecting him to fall though with what they and Mal agreed on. Halis agrees to do so but over time he starts to realize that what the wizards want is not good. He argues with them which leads to them revealing that Malvolia was planning on murdering him from the very start of their friendship. The wizards intended on trying to put him back in the grave but he slips away from them and went into hiding. 

Halis has been in hiding for a few years. There have been sightings of him at night which makes people believe that it's “Halis’ ghost” or Halis himself somehow. Many think it’s a myth, even Teel’ryn and Inferna don’t believe it. Over that time, Halis is deeply hurt by his own friend wanting to kill him. As well as listening to her lies and maipulation, letting her feed into his animal desire for domination. Making everyone blame him rather then her, even though she was the one spilling poison into his mind. While fighting with denial and realizing his own errors, he wanted to seek redemption and atone for his sins. Not wanting to go down in history as a humiliation, He longed to be who he was before Mal's manipulation, a savior... But how could he do that after everything he has done?

If Malvolia ever comes back, he won't hesitate to kill her.

CONCEPT UPDATE

First, Halis’ character has been under construction so some things here might be fuzzy. Same goes for some other characters too so bare with me here.

Halis right now has become a “corrupted hero” kind of character. Trusting and listening to Malvolia had turned him on the wrong path. Mal’s trying to mirror history to get what she wants. A long time ago, Halis and his rebels killed a tyrannical dragon hybrid king, which made him a savior to the people. After he took the throne, Mal had a malicious plan: Make Halis seem like a tyrant then she’ll swoop in to kill him, making her seem like a savior; a full circle.

But unfortunately for her Inferna has messed up her plans, making Halis question his old friends actions. After a while, Mal tried to finish her long scheme by killing Halis along with Inferna for good measure. After a failed attack from his dearest friend, Halis, struck with disbelief, confusion, and anger, he turned feral.

Forgot to mention lmao

As of right now, Halis doesn’t die, dude just got has ass whooped then he went into hiding, which will lead to a full redemption arc for him. Mal on the other hand, she doesn’t come back, she ded.

So anyway here's the dude hiding in a tree and have a writing bit for when he gets ironically captured! :D
