COMIC WIP || I Miss Her (Patreon)

{EDIT 2/24/24} Been a while since I've worked on this! For now on, for more serious comics, I wanna make the shorter ones monochrome and sketchy and the much longer ones written with drawing to go with it! So to give it a go, I'll make this one my lil test for that style! (since I love it and it's fun to draw lol)

The cold winds of Greenland were beginning to clear up as Andri and his crew finished setting up camp. While the crew sat around the fire, getting ready to cook up dinner, Andri stepped away from the camp to look over the valley of ice and snow.

It was calm for a moment as the clouds parted shortly to reveal the moons' dim glow, fixing his gaze to the valley. He focused on the Kaiju circling for a place to rest. It was no other than Jótunn. As Jótunn began to lay on his resting spot, Andri felt the cold breeze begin to pick back up and decided to make his way back to camp. 

However, a strange noise drew Andri to look back out into the valley. Jótunn was on the ground, but his attention was to the moon, as it was briefly away from the clouds. Andri looked with curiosity, and in that moment, he saw Jótunn bellowing at the moon, the sound of lounging for something, or missing someone. Andri knew right away what he missed, his hand over his heart as the bellowing concluded.

"I know, big guy." Andri spoke softly, finally turning around, but still looking out towards Jótunn. "I miss my girl too." With a gentle smile, he walked back to his camp, Jótunn now asleep, and the storm creeping back into a cold, quiet night.
