For the barmaid... curly hair with a lot of braiding, and a tray (empty, so we can add food, drink, etc?) For the fairy princess... maybe some sort of regal armor dress made from parts of huge insects?

Definitely agree about the pixie cut for the fairy princess plus a tiara perhaps? I can see her sitting on a mushroom :) For the barmaid: 1 really thick braid would be neat + two super frothy beer mugs is something I think you'd sculpt really well.

I think the fairy princess chilling on the top of a mushroom smoking a hookah would be a fun aesthetic, kinda like Absalom. The smoke could make some fun fey shape, like flowers or something.
