I'm pretty high on endorphins right now, because I solved the f*ck out of a big problem. Before they run out and fatigue gets me (it's midnight and I've been working on AW since 9am), I wanted to share.

Read the awesomeness here. Warning: it's awesome in a boring technical way.

Oh my! That's a really beautiful solution, props for setting up something so advanced in that engine!

Romanow

Hey, nice solution for serialyzing the npcs between saves! Had the same issue some time back and doing JSON.parse(JSON.stringify(obj)) is the fastest we could do, cause that's done in native code.

Leif Midjord

Good work man! Way to think ...hmm ok maybe not outside the Box, but around the Box then :)

Logon Bays

I like reading stories that I can relate to.

Doctor Fate

By the way are you the only writer on AW?

ThaumX

I make use of JSON to convert the object to text, it's an important first step! :)

ThaumX

Yes, though I fully plan on taking writing submissions, and doing things like contests, awards, and whatnot.

Doctor Fate

Sounds like an awesome idea. Switching topics to donation amounts, how long do you think it will take or what time period do you think implementing custom NPC's into the game will be? I wanna sub the 50 dollars, but I feel like it will be a while before I see my character in the game? Edit:see the website for details...Ill go read that know :P
