[Update] I'll be starting to finish Book of Eros. Can't quite say how many more chapters are left. Next project still undecided. (Patreon)

Hello everyone.
As the title says, I'll start to wrap up Book of Eros. I've been at it for a few chapters now, actually. I can't predict how many more chapters it will take, but I'd say a month and a half at most. It'll be difficult, but I'll try to close as many plot points as I can, especially the important ones. Some, however, I'll have to leave undone. Some plots I set up early thinking I'd do more with them, only to end up prioritizing others. Sara Sasaki (Leo's boss at the fishery) and the two students who Victoria also teaches martial arts to (Remember them? Probably not) are two such plotlines I've regretably had to drop as a consequence of my writing method. A mistake to keep in mind for the future.
I've been working on this story nearly every day for a year straight. It's currently close to 250K words (or 420 legal-sized pages). I'm feeling extremely burned out, and that wouldn't be that big an issue if I didn't have some personal dissatisfactions with it. I still love it, don't get me wrong. I wouldn't have written so much if I didn't. But lots of ideas I had didn't exactly turn out how I wanted.
Getting chapters out every week has been getting more and more difficult. Staring at blank pages for way too long before I decide to put an idea to words. And so instead of saying it'll be on hiatus while I work on something else, I'd much rather give it a final push and a proper ending.
As for a future project, I'm still unsure but not without options. There are a couple of ideas I have for new stories, one of which I've written about 30k words already. However, the Simon Sinclair branch of The Affection Multiplier haunts me to this day for dropping it out of the blue. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, so it's relatively high in the priority list. I've even been tempted to write some extra chapters for the David Walker branch, just because I kind of miss those characters. I probably won't make The Spirit of Lust my main story, simply because I enjoy taking it slow with that one.
That's pretty much it. I needed to keep you all updated. As always, these kinds of decisions make me anxious. I wish I could be uncaring and say I only write for myself, but that stopped being true long ago. I want to write whatever the hell I want, but I also want people to enjoy it, to bring a little bit of happiness or excitement to someone's shitty day at work or similar. People have messaged me saying how much they like what I do, and when I think that some decision I make may disappoint them... Well, it makes it hard to press the publish button some times.
As always, undying thanks for the support. I wish you all the best. Stay safe, stay healthy.
