I opened up the file ready to upload and stopped.  I know can do a little better.  There are two quick fixes I want to make, but rendering will take all night. It's such a simple shot that it would be remiss of me to not get the two most important details right.  Tomorrow should yield results.

Huh so it's one of those kinds of things to render an image it takes forever unless you get like a nuclear computer huh, crazy

With most of my images, it takes forever even with a nuclear computer, but that's partly due to my tendency to render to the max. The Iray engine shares a lot of similarities to actual film (I used to develop my own film and prints but no longer have the space), so exposure/render time can influence graininess and brightness. A blank background with a few bright spotlights for example will render much quicker than a darkened room with a window. The "light" is then bounced off every surface again and again until the room slowly fills with a soft ambience. There's quite a bit of trail and error, but I kinda find it therapeutic, much like refining a photographic print. Only with slightly less fumes.
