v1.1 is a massive update bringing fully localized sidebars, enhanced PF2e support, customizable resource tracking, and powerful GM tools. Theming has been deepened, and layout control is now more granular than ever.

🚀 New Features

UI & Layout Control

Themed Collapse Button: The action menu can now be collapsed! The button adapts its style (Fantasy, Iron, Glass, Cyberpunk, Medieval) to match your active theme perfectly.

Individual Card Sizing: You can now adjust the Width and Height of actor cards individually via the actor settings popup. Great for highlighting bosses or shrinking minions.

Editor Improvements: The layout editor is now fully functional even when the Party HUD is inactive.

🛡️ GM Tools & Privacy

Enhanced HUD Hiding:

By Type: Easily toggle HUD visibility for specific actor types (loot, vehicles, etc.) via a convenient checklist in the Configure HUD menu.

Per-Actor: Use the Hide HUD / Show HUD button on the character sheet header to toggle individual tokens.

Secret Attributes: Mark specific tracked attributes as "GM Only". These bars remain visible to the GM but are completely hidden from players.

📊 Resource Tracking

New Display Styles: Choose how to view your attributes:

Number: Clean numeric display without the bar.

Val/Max: Text display showing "Current / Max".

Custom Icons: You can now assign custom images or FontAwesome icons to tracked resources, replacing or sitting alongside text labels.

🌍 System Enhancements

Pathfinder 2e (PF2e)

Feats Separation: Feats are now handled separately from actions for a cleaner browsing experience.

Expanded Tracking: Added support for tracking Speed, Hero Points, AC, and Temporary HP.

Spell DC: Spell DC is now visible directly in the Action Menu.

D&D 5e

Spell DC: Spell DC is now visible directly in the Action Menu.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Compendium Macros: Fixed a critical issue where macros dragged from compendiums failed to execute. Now supports World Macros & Compendium Macros across dnd5e, pf2e, and generic systems.

Theme Positioning: Fixed an issue where Name X/Y and Bars X/Y settings were ignored in Glass, Fantasy, Cyberpunk, and Medieval themes.

Medieval Layout: Resolved a layout bug in the Medieval theme where moving the Name also unintentionally shifted the attribute bars.

Settings Preview: Fixed a bug where personal positioning overrides (e.g., specific card placement) would disappear while previewing global setting changes.

Hey, this is such a cool looking HUD! Silly question, but I just want to know if this was compatible with PF1e. It looks like every time I try to add items, such as weapons for a specific player, it adds it to all players.

It sounds like you might be adding items to the global settings menu. If you want to add macros or items to a specific actor only, try dragging and dropping them directly onto that character's individual HUD instead.

The Glitch Smith

I tested it on my end, and it seems to be working correctly. Could you please double-check if you have the correct sub-menu and tab expanded on the HUD before dragging the item? If it still doesn't work, it might be a bug. Please report it on my Discord server so I can look into it further. Would ABSOLUTELY become a patron immediately if we could get this on Daggerheart. We're running a very JRPG styled sci-fantasy campaign and this would go hard

Thanks for the interest. Right now, I don't have "deep integration" (like 5e/PF2e) for Daggerheart. But you can still use the Custom Menu and Resource Tracking features to make it work. Supporting Daggerheart officially is hard for me because I am a solo developer. Building it is fine, but keeping it updated is too much work. Instead, I opened the API so anyone can add more features. If you are interested, check this doc: https://www.notion.so/2e9a9504d0878087a6a6e47cb43de51f?v=2e9a9504d0878070a264000c8daa8e90 But even without the API, the module works fine with just the basic features.

hi i just joined how to i get access to the module

The Glitch Smith

Welcome to the Workshop! You don't need a separate download link/file. Since Foundry VTT has native Patreon integration, you can install it directly from the Foundry setup screen once your account is linked. Please check out this guide on how to set it up: https://www.patreon.com/posts/how-to-install-146833696 Once linked, just search for "Stylish Action HUD" in the "Install Module" tab, and it should verify your pledge and let you install it!

Just so that I'm sure, will the Secret Attributes tools hide the health and status of other players? At my table we try to keep the suspense going by not telling what our health is so it would be cool if you can still see the character lined up but not their health? So for example could the player see their own character's health but have it hidden to the others at the table? Either way, love the way the module looks and would love to integrate it into my game at some point! Keep up the amazing work!

The Glitch Smith

You have impeccable timing! That exact feature was literally just added in the latest update (v1.2), which was released today. I added a new "Owner Only" mode. If you select this, the player can see their own health, and the GM can see it, but it remains completely hidden from other players.

Hey man, can you help me? I supported your Patreon to get access to this module, but I'm having some troubles. I play in a monitor with higher resolution than my players, so the action hud stays out of the screen for them. However, they can enter on the module config and adjust the position of their huds to solve this. The point is: as they enter on the config, they can see all the characters tokens and names (enemies included). And if I allow permission to config only for DM, the HUD does not appears on their screen at all. Is there a way I can solve this? All the monsters and NPCs sheets are already private.

The Glitch Smith

Thanks for the report! Yeah, that sounds annoying. I'm going to update it to filter the list based on actor permissions. It was a slight glitch in my logic, my bad! I'll fix it soon.
