Shogun S1E04 Watch Along

Comments

Coastal Kazoo

I posted a comment on YouTube then realized I could post here. The commercials were a little inconvenient but well worth it. Really enjoying watching the show with you guys.

The Great GazB

I'm allied with Seaside, i get different ads though, watching along in the U.K.

Joey (Hustlemando)

There is a tier of Hulu without ads, and it’s cheaper to bundle Hulu with Disney+ now. I currently have the no ads version.

Emergency Santa

I watch without adds on disney. But have no way of speaking to how other people watch, so I may be the minority.

Shauna

I’m on Disney plus in Canada but Hulu/Starz is included. But, I did have to agree to pay an additional 1.99 to go ad free

Nate

I’m watching with ads and it mostly lines up with you guys but we always have different adds

Danssort

I'm watching this on Disney+ in Canada, no Ads.

Jerome Engel

no Hulu in the EU. I'm watching without adds on Disney plus and the time also starts about 6s later for me as it starts with the FX logo. so it's a pain to watch it on here sometimes, but still worth it.

Luck Dragon's Lair

I have Hulu but mine is more expensive because of Disney and HBO and separately I have prime but I've never had an ad any time you guys have. I don't know if it's because you're watching it right away and I'm waiting so maybe they remove the ads after a certain point? Or I'm just paying for no ads without realizing it. Lol.

ZenJedi

I'm watching with no ads. I've just been watching these Shogun reactions on YouTube instead of re-lining up after the ad breaks, but I'll hop on here to play through the intro first.

Eileen

I know we are a few episodes on but I have commercials! The cadence and time syncs up pretty well

Also quick top of my head albeit not holistic cheat sheet for honorifics: - kun/-chan: think “cute” often used for children or someone younger than you or friends or unfamiliar peers in a casual manner. Generally used as masculine/feminine. For friends, it would be most casual to just drop the honorifics or go to first names. -San : in my head this is just general respect, especially for someone “higher” than you or coworkers -sama: very respectful, could be used for a boss or leadership in a professional setting -senpai: think someone talking to their upperclassman -sensei: teacher

Freeman25 4ever

I like how there was "in Memory of" at the end of the episode. I hope he did not die of the chain shot....hmmm i hope not???

Freeman25 4ever

Jk we would heard of that. jay said something of changing to the paid hulu? Hope thats the way it goes..
