"Evil genius with alien technology" "Except the obvious, we'll get him" was an elon musk joke. Dinner ladies serve food in schools/work. Like rose in series 2

Yes Sutekh is from Tom Baker's era I believe. I love when they bring older enemies back. It even has Gabriel Woolf, the actor reprising his role almost 50 years later, he is in his 90's!! You may recognise the voice because he is also the voice of The Beast in the Tenth Doctor and Rose story "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit" which is one i remember vividly which is why it amuses me when Carla says It's the beast!

Sutekh is indeed a classic Who villain, from the Tom Baker '70s story Pyramids of Mars. As you guessed though, Sutekh is also the Egyptian god of death and destruction, also known as Set or Seth. It's one of the most powerful villains the Doctor has ever faced, and he only beat it because Sutekh was already imprisoned (by the other Egyptian gods such as Horus). The Doctor trapped it in the time vortex. Fun fact: Sutekh was played by Gabriel Woolf, who did the voice of The Beast in The Satan Pit... and plays Sutekh again now, decades later! He's 91 now.

Sutekh was a classic villain from the serial “Pyramids of Mars” with Tom Baker as the 4th Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith.

Anyone else think UNIT referencing monitoring any high tech company’s as possible evil alien incursions was a dig at Elon Musk?

Michael Campion

Tom Baker was my Doctor Who growing up and hearing the name Sutekh again was just chilling...
