This is actually as close to Wiccan’s story as we’re gonna get. His soul took over a dead body in the comics too, I believe. I still need to read the OG YA book I have on my shelf.

I think before he met *name redacted* he didn’t know who he really was. That’s when he knew was Billy Maximoff.

A note perfect translation of his story as will happen. I think he only suspected he was who he was, but the shock of what happened last episode broke it all open for him...

When he said his name to Agatha this episode, we were seeing it from his perspective. That’s why it wasn’t censored by the sigil.

Also, I think this walk of the road is Billy's. He was the first into the road, and if you look in his room, MANY of the things that appear in the road are there!

Joe Locke does SUCH a good job of going from his original character to Julian Hilliard in an older body. It also explains why the board in episode 5 said it was for ages 3 and up. William Kaplan's body is 16 years old, but Billy Maximoff's soul has only existed 3 years.

One thing though. It puts episode two's car ride in such a different light. When Eddie calls, Teen just says "He worries." But the last time he saw him, they had gone to see a lunatic in dark parking garage. So, Eddie has every right to be worried. And then when Teen starts saying his story in the car and Agatha can't hear him, Billy is merely telling the story he was told when everyone thought he had amnesia. He doesn't have those memories.

Something that jumped out at me was the very deliberate name usage. It is always William Kaplan and Billy Maximoff. I think at the end he will get back his memories/reconcile his identities and start going as Billy Kaplan
