those side enforcers are not game characters. In fact we still dont know the big guy and fish guys names (at least it wasnt stated in the show) as of ep 3. They are just cool mama jamas.

Having played league since 2010, it is really awesome to see people loving these characters and stories so much. And I really like both of your reactions to the show and can't wait to see how you like the rest of Act 1, plus what it looks like they are building to for the rest of the season. It is peak cinema

If you want to know how they did the animation, there's a docu series on the making of arcane for the first season. I highly recommend you watch it to learn more about everything

Re: the conversation you guys had about Jayce making a new weapon at the end, I think that's just showing Jayce building all of the new hextech weapons that the squad is showing off and bringing down to the undercity. Basically just a way to illustrate that he's at least partially given up on the idea of not allowing hextech to be used in weapons.

Zero mocap. It's all keyframed by hand (the software handles all the tweening). They used a ton of video references, both from the animators as well as the faces of the VAs as guides
