Stephen Morris

Yeah sometimes this show relies on shock value more than it should. They could have had Mark save the kid at the least. But the show decided to delve into bad taste.

Leosol

As someone who has read the books, and immediately recognized the part of the story they were telling with PowerPlex, Adam should have recognized that this episode was going to end very badly for Jay. This is entirely on him.

Skallywag

That definitely happened in the books. I think if anything the kid was slightly older in the books, but it definitely happened. Just as heartbreaking there as it was in the show and Aaron Paul did a fantastic job as Poweplex.

Bradley Claxton

I feel like they should have someone watch the show or movie they’re going to react to first, so that they can flag any potential triggers for Jay or Adam. Because this is the second time that an episode has been ruined for Jay due to the writers getting a bit too dark, the first being Arcane.
